As I was sitting in my studio listening to the rain and staring at my stained paper towels, I became overcome with what now feels like a distant memory. I started thinking about my past and some of the experiences that shaped, carved, and stained me into the person that I am today. Some are good, some bad. Together they slowly formed something completely unique and beautiful because those are the things that make us who we are. I aim to write these in order to share a bit at the person behind the art. Some will be about people, some about experiences, and some will just be random feelings and observations that inspired me to place ink on canvas. These are my beautiful stains.
