I've gotten a few questions about the little secret messages I've been including in my recent work so here's some behind the scenes. There was no real plan at the start. My cool neighbor religiously reads Raleigh magazine and kinda got me into reading local papers and magazines. I subconsciously started underlining sentences and phrases that caught my interest and eventually had the idea to start hiding them in my artwork. It's a fun practice pairing words with the unspoken mediums of color and texture. I dig it and hope it's able to bring out deeper meaning, not for everyone, but to the individual that resonates with it. Like it was created specifically for them.

On display at BREW Coffee Bar, Cary location.

Help for our neighbors.

As we are all aware, Hurricane Helene brought destruction and despair in ways we are only beginning to see. It's unimaginable, yet, we don't have to imagine because it's the reality. We only have to choose to see instead of turning a blind eye. Helene has long left and she left us with an opportunity. An opportunity to see, to care, and to love our neighbors.

It's easy to feel helpless in situations like these, but every tiny bit helps. So, yes, I will give what I'm able to now, but I'll also give a portion of any income I may receive moving forward.

25% of all sales will go directly towards helping our Western NC neighbors.

Please note that if purchased, Morgan will need time to paint a replacement piece for it's spot and the target timeframe is December.

With love,
Morgan
